To put it in other words, Soliloquies give a voice to Hamlet's thoughts. A monologue is a discourse in which a character (for this situation Hamlet) uncovers to audience his thoughts and feelings which he is not able to express to different characters in the play. Just in the monologues, we have the capacity to see the genuine side of Hamlet, and we start to create a superior understanding of his complex character. ![]() We can tell this by the way his inclination differs all through the play. ![]() Hamlet's character is not one dimensional there are numerous sides to his personality. We can see this through the character Hamlet. As we all know, the play Hamlet is essentially about life and death.
